Wooden Beads by Design

I have fallen in love with painting wooden beads.  Sometimes when I'm out shopping for beads more stuff I really don't need, I just can't find what I'm looking for.  Fortunately, for me that scenario happened when I was going to make my daughters name sign.  So, I decided to create my own.  I purchased some wooden beads, then I drew a design on them with a sharpie, next I painted them with acrylic paints, and finally I gently sanded and coated them with some varnish.  Viola...beautiful beads that match my color scheme and design.  The beads were fun and easy to make.  I would have definitely made more, but of course I was onto the next project for baby girl's room.  I just cannot believe I have a little girl.
